Tafarn Tu Hwnti I'r Afon Inn prides itself on having real ale and excellent quality food. The pub is delightful and the staff welcoming and friendly, with the ever helpful landlord Gwynfor Hughes. There are a selection of REAL ALES from the Robinson's stable and the food is not your typical "Pub Grub" of the chips and gravy variety (in fact we hand make our own chips!), but more akin to a "Gastro Pub" using locally sourced ingredients and a daily specials board all of which are cooked to order with care and attention by the Chef Bryan Jones and Cath Williams. See our Menu and Wine List.

We are pleased to announce that we have now been awarded the 'Cask Marque' which is a sign that appears outside pubs, guaranteeing that inside you will get a great pint of cask ale. Click on the logo to go to their web site. |
There is a restaurant section where you can dine in style away from the pub area itself, but we do recommend that you book this section especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
We also have a separate FUNXTION (X marks the spot) room available for use which seats up to 36 people, this can be used for meetings or private functions - we hope to complete the refurbishment of the function room, by adding a bar and having more dining facilities away from the main bar by Easter 2010.
The pub also has a successful Darts team that meet regularly and also a Quiz team that completes with other local pub teams.
